This design is all about the interplay of interesting surface textures worked in a snuggly soft yarn. The beautiful flowing cables create a mesmerizing wave pattern that is reversible and looks different depending on the viewing angle. The hat is knit with 190 yds; the cowl is knit with 200 yds, and #4 worsted-weight yarn is used for both designs. For the hat use U.S. size 9/5.5mm 16″ circular needle and double-point needles and size 5/3.75mm 16″ needle for brim. For the cowl use U.S. size 9/5.5 24″ circular needle and 6/4mm 24″ circular needle for hem ribbing.
